Does MAXPRO provide both concentric (lifting) and eccentric (lowering) resistance of the weight during your workout?Updated 2 years ago

Using the MAXPRO provides a concentric biased resistance (CBR) profile. A concentric biased resistance (CBR) profile is different from the traditional workout methods available today. Basically, a MAXPRO user will workout the muscle primarily on contraction only.

CBR activates different neural receptors in the central nervous system (CNS) to initiate muscle stimulation and build muscle and does so without any not Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). CBR is also much easier on your joints and spine since there is no actual heavy weight on your back. Keeps you always in control of your lift.

Not getting sore is the amazing benefit of concentric-only training! Many of our customers, who are traditional weight lifters, are extremely surprised at how effective the MAXPRO is for them to build muscle and to get a great workout. There really hasn’t been something like MAXPRO before with such high resistance. It’s less stress on the joints but stimulates muscle growth just fine. Most people just need to get used to the difference in feeling and movement. Please see the following links to scientific papers and articles:
